White Peony Tea


White Peony tea, also known as, Bai Mudan, is a type of white tea made from the young, unopened buds of the tea plant. White peony tea undergoes very little processing and is known for its fresh and mild aroma. Its taste is particularly subtle and can be a good choice if you are a tea beginner. 


Origin: Fujian, China

Weight: 12g

Add 3-4g of tea per 100 ml of fresh water, or about one tablespoon per teapot. Heat the water to 80°C- 90°C (176°F- 194°F) and brew for 3-4 minutes. Increase the steeping time after each additional brewing. 

Note that it can stand up to 3 brewings. It is recommend that you experiment with your own techniques to find your most desired taste profile.
