Organic Genmaicha
Genmaicha is a type of Japanese tea blended with roasted and popped brown rice (“genmai” means brown rice). Before being added to Japanese green tea, the brown rice is steamed and roasted. The form of the roasted brown rice looks like that of popcorn, just smaller in size. The Japanese tea used for this genmaicha is sencha. The taste is rich, but never strong or bitter. It is a favorite dinnertime beverage in Japan. This Genmaicha is certified organic.

Brewing Instructions
How to place an order?
First Infusion: Add 1 gram of tea per 100 ml of fresh water, or about one tablespoon per teapot. Heat the water to 80°C (176°F) and brew for one minute.
Second Infusion: Brew with the same water temperature 80°C (176°F) but infuse for only a few seconds.
Note that the caffeine content of green tea becomes significantly less after the first steeping. It is recommend that you experiment with your own techniques to find your most desired taste profile.
